Silent Lucidity

Lately I've been pondering lucid dreaming, and how I'd like to be able to do it. Then it occurred to me.. wait, what if I've always been lucid dreaming??? I wanted to when i was young, maybe all this time i have been? Whats the difference? ..... will someone explain what happens in your non-lucid dreams? please elucidate!

For example, when dreaming, I can do what i want, and know I'm dreaming, but its all within settings and scenarios given to me... can a lucid dreamer change his surroundings?

Goodbye Sober Day

Why am I so tired today??!?! I can't even get motivated enough to finish these files sitting in front of me. Just staring off into space with glassy eyes , shallow breaths , and a faded grin.... I blame all this sugar thats been fed to me today... a goodbye cake for a co-worker, hmm, some cookies.. ehhhh. At least its a friday.

There's gonna be a lot of snow this weekend ... 3 inches by tomorrow morning, and it will snow through sunday?? whack, yo...

Pigs On Parade

The was some strange mass mobilization of cops just occuring in Frederick on my lunchbreak. Everywhere I went, cops were turning on their lights and speeding off somewhere, and at one point some were parked and a cop was getting his rifle out of the trunk ... Somethin' big's goin' down.

Devin Townsend is HILARIOUS .. I repeat.. HILARIOUS. SYL played for only 30 minutes, but it was so awesome. Eh, then i bought an SYL hoodie and left, Dark Tranquillity wasn't gonna trick me into seeing them again.... I still don't see how they're BETTER than In Flames, when DT does nothing but bore me beyond belief each time I've seen them. I walked around the tourbuses after leaving and could see the guys hangin' around in a bus, but I'm not one to just go up and knock on a rockstar's tour bus.. oh well. I have no idea nor do I care how Napalm Death's or Nile's show went... death metal.. ughhh.

Oh speaking of Devin Townsend.. theres a new track from his upcoming album on mp3.com. "Suicide" .. Check it out, and the rest of the songs on there while you're at it. His catchy pop sensibilities are sure to please just about anyone. lol. The new album is seeming to be written like the best parts of Ocean Machine, and since that's already the greatest album of all time.. who knows.. maybe the new one will be better.. hmmm.

I told Iris I'd call her again tomorrow, and that I'd try not to giggle so much... but I can't help but think of Frau! hahaha.. ok ok german and dutch accents are different, but still I'm reminded of frau, and nothing good can come of that... And it doesn't help that i've had conversations long ago in the past with german Dan about how silly dutch is. hehe ... (all accents make me laugh, I should add...)

ha ha ha! I called my dear friend Iris (of the Netherlands) today, after only knowing her before from online chatting. I couldnt help but giggle the whole time because of her Dutch accent! And then through the giggling i couldn't always decipher what she was saying (I'm sure a lot had to do with a crappy connection though .. :/ ), so needless to say i was easily confused. I wonder how confusing I sounded ...
The 6 hour time difference makes things quite strange as well.

Bwahahah... Steven the dell guy was busted for possession of marijuana today. His 15 minutes are long gone..

Anyone ever tried making international calls with a cell phone? After glancing through the Sprint PCS website, I noticed in the FAQ about how international calling is "credit dependent" and you have to ask for that ability... but i only see options to add calling to Mexico and Canada on there, what about those poor fools in Europe?

I've decided to upgrade from flower sticks to devil sticks this weekend, since I think I've got the juggling basics down, and the flower sticks i have are the beginner kid model, too light to have too much crazyness with. Hopefully they won't take too long to come in the mail! I'll be sure to get excited about it whenever they do show.

And it's odd talking on IM to people who only sign on from their cell phones... Maybe I should just TALK on the phone instead. hahahah. NONSENSE!

It was the first thing I thought of upon the tragic demise space shuttle Columbia. "If one of those chunks landed in my humpy-bumpy, I'd sell that on e-bay!" Of course I knew I wouldn't be the only one. "We live in an evil world and there are people that will do those types of things," states NASA (you know the joke..) spokesman Bruce Buckingham. He'd probably consider me evil just for thinking about it. So that makes me evil AND a terrorist, now. Classy...
